Ukrainian Foundation "Step by Step" announces a tender for attracting experts to provide services within the scope of implementation of the project Beyond Trauma: Scaling Up Community Mental Health Care for Children and Youth at Risk in Ukraine's Conflict Affected Communities
We are pleased to announce the launch of a three-year project on the nexus of emergency and recovery, focusing on Sumy, Kharkiv, Chernivtsi and Khmelnytskyi oblasts. Among the consortium partners of the project are: AIDS Foundation East West (AFEW Ukraine), Ukrainian Step by Step Foundation (USSF), Doctors of the World Netherlands (MdM-NL), Doctors of the World Greece (MdM-GR), War Child Netherlands and the War Child Alliance, who leads the project. The Ukraine Partnership Facility (UPF) funds the project. UPF is a programme from the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO), commissioned by the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The project addresses the need for better, local mental health care services and stigma reduction in targeted areas in Ukraine, with a special focus on children and youth.
More specifically, the project aims to:
- strengthen the ability of community-based and primary health care institutions to provide Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS);
- reduce barriers to accessing mental health services for communities; and
- reduce distress levels and improve the well-being among communities.
І. The competition is announced for the following positions:
- MEAL officer – Data collection and evaluation, support accurate and timely data collection for project activities to ensure timely reporting, ensure proper following of internal project procedures with regard to reporting for Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Plan, assistance with data reporting (donor reports, internal reports, etc), other duties as assigned by the MEAL Manager, Program Manager or HQ MEAL team, field monitoring visits as required.
- Field Coordinator assistant West – Responsible for support of overall coordination of the project activities; establishing and coordinating relations with experts and partners; preparation of the primary documents for reporting; carrying out logistical and administrative tasks in relation to the planning and implementation of the f programme in Chernivtsi,and Khmelnitsky regions of Ukraine, scheduling and organizing meetings and appointments, hroviding administrative and logistical support for the organization of seminars, workshops, conferences and other events, making travel arrangements for team members, project partners, as well as attendees at project events, backstopping the Finance Manager in performing finance duties, ordering and maintaining office supplies and materials.
- Advocacy companies coordinator (2 persons) – Responsible for all advocacy companies in targeting regions. Coordinate content and materials for member and partner meetings. Conduct research to support advocacy and communications efforts. Take initiative to manage files, calendars, and communications for the department.
- SMM manager Responsible for develop and implement a communication strategy for the project, a communication plan, provide strategic advice to the project communication team, coordinating and receiving approval of plans from the project communication team, participating in the meetings and other important events (where possible and needed) to stay informed on the latest developments, manage social media channels: Twitter, Instagram, Telegram, TikTok, YouTube, to• increase reach and engagement under posts.
